Grenada is known as the Spice Island, and with good reason. Nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and cloves are just some of the spices grown on this lush island. In fact, the country takes its designation as the Spice Island so seriously, it even features a nutmeg on its flag.

Spices aside, Grenada is an island with plenty of natural and other charms. There are beautiful beaches, like Grand Anse, great snorkelling and diving, and a thriving ecotourism sector. And if that’s not enough, there is a growing natural chocolate industry. Last, but not least, the capital of St. George’s is one of the prettiest in the Caribbean.
