The second most populous of the British Virgin Islands, Virgin Gorda is renowned for its natural beauty. It is usually reached by ferry from Tortola, the BVI’s biggest island, as well as from St. Thomas and St. John in the US Virgin Islands.  Once you get there, you’ll find some surprisingly good accommodation options.

Virgin Gorda is known the world over for the Baths, a labyrinth of huge beachside granite boulders forming a series of seawater-fed pools and grottos.  Really quite impressive.
